Richard Donner's police thriller, designed to introduce a series which was not seen in Britain, Jack Palance plays a tough but eminently practical cop. The driving scenes were no problem for Jack Palance, who owns a big collection of cars, including a 1938 Cadillac that once belonged to Al Capone.
