The last of five films that Ray Milland directed with himself as star is probably the weakest - a courtroom thriller that does little to belie its stage origins. Sylvia Syms, well past her prime as a star attraction, is the leading lady, while Felix Aylmer, Raymond Huntley, Percy Marmont and Ballard Berkeley - all familiar figures in such typically British dramas - bolster the supporting cast.
