While the story is entirely predictable, this romantic comedy is an unexpected pleasure, with its sharp script, sweet heart and good-looking leads. Charlie Sheen plays an arrogant stockbroker who loses everything. To make ends meet, he secretly takes over his ex-girlfriend's (Denise Richards) agony aunt column, and not only discovers his sensitive side, but finds love with the newspaper's editor (Angie Harmon). Quirky support characters include Sheen's neurotic plastic surgeon pal (Jon Lovitz), the doc's gossipy wife (Rosanna Arquette), and the editor's sex-starved secretary (Seinfeld's ma, Estelle Harris, who has some of the best lines). Good fun.
