An entertaining, if rambling remake of the 1970 Lee Marvin Western. Tom Selleck's cowboy character is an enjoyable wisecracker who refuses to play ball with businessmen taking over the ranches, despite the distraction of a romance with Isabella Rossellini. Keith Carradine co-stars in Jack Palance's original role.
