This gentle 'road movie' stars veteran Ernest Borgnine as Hotis Brown, a stubborn Texas man who, considered unsafe behind the wheel after an accident, decides to get on his tractor in order to travel across the state to visit his sick brother, Jarvis (Alan North). Another distinguished veteran, Kim Hunter, co-stars in this moving small-town tale with super performances and some fine views of the Texas landscape. Not to be confused with the better-known The Straight Story.
