Shot in the back by someone for apparently no reason, Frank (Val Kilmer) awakes in hospital having also lost his memory. An interesting film noir plot unfolds as Frank experiences odd flashbacks and premonitions of a presidential assassination - and he was meant to be the assassin. It's a good, if complicated, thriller, with fine performances from, among others, Scream's Neve Campbell as Frank's apparent fiancee. There's also a small role for Faye Dunaway.
