Hulk Sequel No Surprise

You probably won't be surprised to hear that a Hulk sequel is already planned.

As with any Hollywood blockbuster, if you make a smash the first time round it's highly likely you can expect a repeat performance.

Obviously able to smell the green that the Hulk is pulling in, studio bosses must be rubbing their hands together for the prospect of another BIG-hitting chart-topper.

Nevertheless, the film's star Eric Bana has confirmed what we already expected - Hulk 2 will go ahead, though he can't reveal much more.

"I guess we will do one," he said.

This, of course, is a reference to Wolfgang Petersen's Troy - currently shooting in Malta - in which Bana plays Trojan hero Hector.

He's been training hard in order to take on Brad Pitt's Achilles in single combat: "I haven't disfigured Brad Pitt just yet," Bana assures fans of the archetypal heartthrob.

"We've been working out like crazy. I have to be strong because Achilles kicks my ass."

According to USA Today, Hulk writer James Schamus has already begun work on a script for the second film which, it's reported, will present the Hulk in his original colour - grey.

And, when it comes to villains, Schamus has alluded to The Leader and The Abomination as two possibilities.
