Sharon Splits From Hubby
Stone leaves newspaper boss citing "irreconcilable differences."Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone has split from her hubby of five years, newspaper editor Phil Bronstein.
The actress made her decision after she finished filming A Different Loyalty in London, where she plays the wife of British traitor Kim Philby.
Stone and Bronstein, who runs the San Francisco Chronicle, married on Valentine's Day in 1998.
They adopted a baby boy, Roan, three years ago. Bronstein is seeking joint custody of the child.
Stone's spokesman confirmed the couple are living apart.
Stone, 44, is said to be living in the couple's Los Angeles house, while Bronstein is at their San Francisco home.
Their marriage has been rumoured to be in trouble for several weeks.
