World-famous for his portrayal of Dracula, Christopher Lee is still in sinister vein in this thriller. The film tries to vary its familiar plot - husband out to bump off wife so that he can marry attractive mistress - by making the wife (Dilys Hamlett) unusually resourceful, and the inspector on the case (Jon Finch) a surly, oddball character with problems of his own.
