A suspenseful story of an attractive but enigmatic girl who, as a babysitter, insinuates herself into her employers' household and private lives. What begins as a dream come true for the family, ends up as a nightmare. To anyone not bedazzled by the 18-year-old girl, there is clearly something odd about her. In particular, neighbourhood doctor John Houseman is suspicious of her and endeavours to uncover her closely-guarded past. It all builds to a suitably chilling climax.
