This is the entertaining pilot film to a short-lived seventies television series that bore a striking resemblance to the fondly-remembered The Wild, Wild West. A light-hearted, easy-going adventure starring William Star Trek Shatner, it won Emmy award nominations for art director Jack DeShields and set decorator Reg Allen. Featuring a whole cluster of such reliable Hollywood 'heavies' as John Vernon, Leo Gordon, Michael Ansara, Neville Brand and Richard Kiel, the film was directed by Bill Bixby, of Incredible Hulk fame, who also takes a cameo role.
