Based on a similar theme to 'Heaven Can Wait', this return-from-the- other-side effort unfortunately doesn't bring deliverance from the not-so-hot TV movie syndrome. Angela (Cathy Podewell - little seen seen since her heyday as JR's hayseed bride Cally in TV's Dallas), a teenage prom queen, has the opportunity to go back and undo the heartache she caused teacher Wayne (Mark Hamill) when she dropped him for Duke (Erik Estrada). In Heaven she meets her head teacher who decides to send her back on a mission. Her task is to set Wayne up with someone to love. The characters here are one-dimensional which makes it hard to empathise with them and, although there's an occasional chance to faintly smile, the moralising, do-good tone leaves a bad taste and a feeling of tedium.
