Films like this shouldn't be allowed. A feckless farce from the brothers Sheen and Estevez, this is a waste of (anybody's) money that wouldn't have got past first base in the old studio days. Way over the top playing and direction decorates a vapour-thin story about two garbage men who become involved with a murder and vital tape that incriminates those behind a scandal concerning the dumping of toxic waste. Sound promising? Forget it: Estevez wrote it as well and he didn't do a good job - the dialogue is more likely to send you to sleep than make you laugh. And what happened to the vital tape at the end? No-one seemed to care. Credit Leslie Hope with being the fastest movie mover in a short, tight skirt and you've said it all. Garbage is right.
