A modern-day, true-life story of real heroism. Director Ralph L Thomas presents a heartwarming biography of a young man with cancer who, after having his leg amputated, finds enough of the right stuff to undertake a one-man marathon across Canada to raise money to help other cancer sufferers. This film follows the marathon of hope undertaken by Terry (played by real amputee Eric Fyer). The scenes where Terry courageously runs into Toronto, and is met by thousands of adoring admirers, are handled with much inspiration. It's an altogether uplifting experience.
