Predictable lunacy from the boys in blue of Washington Police Academy. The main failing of this, and in fact all six sequels, is that they neither expand upon nor exploit the characters established in the original. Instead, they offer more of the same Keystone Kops-style chaos which, while avoiding all Academy Awards for excellence, nevertheless managed, as a series, to take over a billion dollars at box offices worldwide. This episode features Steve Guttenberg's last appearance in the series, though the principal interest for today's film fans is that superstar Sharon Stone's in it too.
