Malcolm McDowell has only one obvious qualification for playing 20th-century medical missionary Albert Schweitzer in a turgid biopic of the great man - his white hair. Otherwise there's nothing to recommend this version of the Nobel prize-winner's journey to the heart of Africa and his battle to establish the Lambarene Clinic in the lush rainforest of Gabon.
