This made for cable comedy horror story is unusual in that, unlike many similar film, it is actually both scary and quite funny. This is largely thanks to Keith Szarabajka who manages to be both spooky and comically warped as a doctor who believes he can cure the beautiful vampire (Maryam D'Abo) he has fallen in love with. But she is pursued by her former vampire lover, played by Britain's Ben Cross. What gives this tale a bizarre edge is that it's set in Mexico City, scene of many a low-budget horror comedy of the past. Good fun.
