This sci-fi thriller about a governemt agent (Kim Cattrall) who is killed and then rebuilt by scientists into half-human half robot covers pretty familiar ground. You've seen this story before, in fact - only better done. To rise above the improbabilities of this story, it would take vigorous direction and a solid, believable script, not to mention a bigger budget. Sadly, this film has none of these. Okay, the different twist here is that it's a heroine not a hero, but that's not enough to make this film amount to much in the Robocop stakes. She becomes a robot and the baddie wants to blow up the world. The same old story, really...
