Jim Isaac

Born:5 June 1960

As a producer, writer, director, actor and even special effects producer on the Jude Law thriller eXiztenZ, Isaac has carved out a varied and prolific career for himself.

He was brought into the world of directing by controversial moviemaker David Cronenberg.

"David knew I wanted to direct and it was my goal," said Isaac.

"He let me into his world and I could ask him any questions I wanted on what he was doing. I'd ask, 'Why did you block it like that,' or 'What were you thinking here?' He really allowed me to pick his brain."

Isaac helmed The Horror Show in 1989, and Jason X in 2001.
