Jacqueline Bisset is Holly McPhee, a woman who is not all she seems. A wife, mother and magistrate in the daytime, at night she sells crime for fun, using her inside knowledge to devise plans for bank robberies, together with gangster Blair (Gary Day). But then criminal psychologist Dr Jim Okazaki (Masaya Kato) muscles in on the territory and offers to become her new partner - in crime and in passion. Over time Holly discovers that Jim is not to be trusted at all and sets a trap for him. But who in the end is the cleverer of the two? This Australian film offers some quite original twists, and director Ian Barry does keep the story's suspense popping, even if plausibility isn't its strong suit.
