Although this sports drama set in the world of motorcycle racing follows most formula rules, with the hero losing everything then fighting to get it all back again, it's still an enjoyable, if undemanding film. Hero rider Cody (Alex McArthur) gets the chance to ride for a Japanese team, so dumps his girl (Pamela Ludwig) and his best pal (Peter Berg), who also happens to be his mechanic. But things go wrong, of course, and Cody find he needs their help. The plot won't tax the brain, but the cast give it their all, as does young director Rocky Lang. Another plus is the well-filmed and genuinely exciting racing.
