Matthew Lillard
Born: January 24, 1970
Where: Lansing, Michigan
Despite acting since a child, Lillard only made a name for himself aged 30 as the superbly cast Shaggy in the blockbuster action feature Scooby Doo.
A kids TV presenter to start with (he also worked as an extra on Ghoulies 3), Lillard had his big screen break in 1996 in the horror spoof Scream.
(Before then's he'd played Cereal Killer in Hackers and had a small part in the sci-fi thriller Animal Room).
He had a memorable role as the obnoxious 'Real World' reject Brock in the teen comedy She's All That starring Freddie Prinze Jr.
He subsequently starred with Kenneth Branagh and Alicia Silverstone in the 1930s musical adaptation of Shakespeare's comedy Love's Labour's Lost.
Subsequent roles included the horror Thirteen Ghosts before he was cast as Norville "Shaggy" Rogers in Scooby Doo.
In 2003, he appeared in the exam cheating drama The Perfect Score and Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.
Recent work has included the lacklustre adventure comedy Without A Paddle with Seth Green.
