Geena Davis stars in this 17th-century female pirate adventure yarn as Morgan Adams, an improbably buxom buccaneer who fails to save the life of her father at the hands of his blackhearted brother Dawg Brown (Frank Langella) and then decides to beat Dawg to the legendary CutThroat Island and find the treasure her father buried there. Her main problem is that the map revealing the location has been divided into three pieces. She only has the first, etched on her dead father's scalp... Matthew Modine plays a smooth-talking, dashing con-man, who decides to stick with Morgan for a share of the treasure.
