Camryn Manheim
Born: March 8, 1961
Where: Caldwell, New Jersey
Manheim is known as a 'larger' actress, but she is nonetheless successful and has landed roles in films such as The Laramie Project, Scary Movie 3, and Lasse Hallstrom's drama An Unfinished Life.
She is also self-deprecating and scored a personal triumph with her one-person Off-Broadway hit Wake Up, I'm Fat, which has led to a growing number of roles on stage and on the big screen.
Manheim's acting career began on the New York stage, and she soon made the move to film with a role in The Bonfire of the Vanities in 1990.
TV's Law & Order was her next high-profile move, and then she starred in The Road to Wellville and Romy and Michele's High School Reunion.
More recently she appeared in A Girl Thing, which starred Kate Capshaw, Stockard Channing and Mia Farrow.
