Major League, while by no means a great film, was at least fun to be with and had enough laughs to keep us chuckling. But this sequel, while treading almost exactly the same plot path, is predictable, ill-paced and unfunny. All the stars of the first film - Charlie Sheen, Tom Berenger and Corbin Bernsen leading them out to bat - appear again, with the notable exception of Wesley Snipes. He obviously read the script thoroughly, or found something (anything! ) better to do. They all struck out on this one.
