Mark Dacascos
Born: February 26 1964
Where: Hawaii, USA
An exotic blend of Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, Spanish and Irish, Dacascos made his mark as a martial arts exponent in Germany.
After landing the European Championship title, his first film appearance (the scenes were deleted) was in 1984's Dim Sum: A Little Bit of Heart.
Small parts followed in cult action films such as Crying Freeman, Drive and Only The Strong before his career kicked off with The Crow: Stairway To Heaven.
The role led to No Code of Conduct and Stanley Tong's China Strike Force opposite rapper Coolio.
He also starred in the critically acclaimed French box office hit Brotherhood of the Wolf opposite Monica Belluci and Vincent Cassell.
The derivative Scorcher with Rutger Hauer followed and he also appeared with Jet Li and DMX in the frankly ludicrous Cradle 2 The Grave.
He can next been seen in action yarn The Adventurer.
