Seventies high school life in the States is portrayed in this film, which features a very young Ben Affleck.

On the last day of summer term in 1976, students at a suburban Texas high school wait impatiently for classes to end.

The young and the restless include the jocks, the cane-heads and, of course, the snobby sorority girls.

The one thing they all have in common is the desire to humiliate the incoming young students as much as possible.

The football stars are going through a difficult phase, which takes teen angst to a higher plane.

The coach has decreed that all his players must abstain from sex and all psychoactive substances.

When a wild end-of-the-year party is cancelled, the students end up congregating at a beer-blast in the back woods, set up by an older free spirit (Matthew McConaughey).

A teen wasteland of drugs, partying, and rock 'n' roll, Dazed And Confused is interspersed with a healthy smattering of football and an unforgettable, now famous cast.

An awesome film that will leave you smiling. Whether it feels familiar, or it's all brand new, the cast are engaging, the music is definitive and the comedy is classic. Dazed and Confused; See it with a Bud.

One of the greatest films ever made for people who love coming of age teen movies. I would recommend this to anyone. An up and coming A-list Hollywood cast, great story about the last day of school in '76 and the rites of passage of young school boys to teen adulthood. Unmissable!!
