The Little Riders

When the Nazis occupy their Dutch village, young Noley Thornton and her grandpa Paul Scofield and grandma Rosemary Harris hatch a plan to save their essential symbol of freedom ¿ the Little Riders figures on the old town clock ¿ from destruction. Classy acting and the Dutch location filming add flavour to a fine little heartwarming drama, though Malcolm McDowell is terrible as evil Commanding Officer Kessel.
