There's an interesting idea here, but despite all its efforts at steaminess and suspense, the screenplay makes insufficient sense for its audience to suspend disbelief, its developments grow progressively more ludicrous and the whole production bears a shoddy look uncharacteristic of Hollywood TV movies. Attempts at tension are well telegraphed in advance. Star Peter Coyote at least keeps a straight face in a very silly role as a sexually predatory army camp commandant who targets a military wife foolish enough to flirt with him. Coyote's secret hideaway to which he kidnaps her has to be seen to be believed. Good for a giggle.
