Matrix Downpour
Keanu speaks out about acting in the rain... heavy rain.Keanu Reeves is a brave man indeed, having survived some pretty hefty rain in the new Matrix movie.
At the end of The Matrix Revolutions, Keanu's character, Neo, has a climactic fight with Agent Smith, played by Hugo Weaving.
But this isn't just a fight of man versus machine proportions - it's actually a scene of 'will Keanu and Hugo drown'?
According to Keanu it was a struggle:
"On the first take, when Hugo and I fight, the rain came down, and we realised that we couldn't see each other."
In a very Stars Wars feel-the-force way he added:
"But we'd fought so much together that we actually didn't have to see each other, which was kind of a cool thing."
"It was just dramatic.

Having survived the battering experience - similar to being crashed into by the Hogwart's Express - Keanu revealed:
"The other thing that Hugo and I found was that when we would do the scenes we couldn't hear each other.
And we couldn't actually hear ourselves, because the big, fat, juicy raindrops that they'd taken two months to design were loud."
Lucky Keanu was paid $15million for the film so he could afford a daily blow dry at his local salon.
He also spoke of the intricacies of his costume changes for the part of Neo:
"There were 21 different cassocks, and I think five of them were used for the rain...
"I had a light rain cassock, a dry talking cassock..." he explained, so that we can all rest easy knowing he didn't catch a chill during filming.
