As usual these days, Malcolm McDowell overplays his hand - but here amusingly as a corrupt business tycoon who finds out that his lusty, younger wife (Joan Severance, game for any part where sex appeal comes first) is having a fling with young stud C Thomas Howell. So, of course, he plots a sadistic game of revenge on the duo. This went straight to video, like all Howell's films these days, but he acquits himself admirably in this gripping, neatly-crafted movie, which unexpectedly turns out to be a lot of fun for those in search of a highly improbable, escapist erotic thriller. There's plenty of unrestrained raunchiness in this uncut version of the film.
