This drama about a couple who put their baby up for adoption is pretty standard TV movie fare. The couple get living and medical expenses from the woman who wants to adopt the child, but it's all a con. This variation on well-worn themes offers nothing new: indeed its only real selling point is a polished performance from star Cybill Shepherd. Nonetheless it's professionally done and an undemanding time-passer if there's nothing more promising on another channel.
