Michael Davis
Director Michael Davis is a rising star behind the lens. He has brought Eight Days A Week, 100 Girls and Monster Man to the big screen.
A film school graduate, Davis embarked on a cinematic career with his narrative short, Pinstripe & Straightjacket.
His first paid job was in LA's gangland where he worked as a storyboard artist. This experience enabled Davis to work under the guidance of John McTiernan (Medicine Man) and Ron Underwood (on Tremors.)
Davis then decided it was time to go it alone. He armed himself with his life savings and a bucketful of charm and started work on his labour of love, Eight Days A Week.
And the labour paid off. The film won the top award at the Slamdance Film Festival and was acquired and distributed by Warner Brothers.
Davis then joined the team of Dream Entertainment, and has produced three features for them: The comedy 100 Girls, it’s follow up 100 Women, and most recently Monster Man.
Davis has also directed TV, including Cheers – The Last Call – the 91st most watched TV programme of all time.
