Barry Watson

The former child model is best known for the role of Tim in the Sam Raimi-produced horror yarn Boogeyman.
The son of lawyers and the third of four children, Watson moved with his family to Dallas aged eight where he started modelling.
His parents divorced when he was 14 and he later moved to California where he landed a role in the soap Days Of Our Lives.
However, after six months further work wasn't forthcoming and he returned to Dallas where he graduated from Richardson High School in 1992.
Returning to LA aged 19, he parked cars at the House of Blues and appeared in Baywatch before being cast in the Aaron Spelling's Malibu Shores.
Tori Spelling introduced him to his future wife, Laura (the couple later divorced).
After several TV movies, he made his feature debut in 1999 in the comedy-thriller Teachings Mrs Tingle alongside Katie Holmes and Helen Mirren.
Subsequent big screen appearances included the thriller When Strangers Appear with Rhada Mitchell and the lead role in Sorority Boys.
(in 2001 he briefly appeared as himself in the all-star heist caper Ocean's Eleven).
In 2002, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease but the cancer was reported to be in remission by the following year.
