The script may be a bit toothless, but Kirstie Alley is on good form as a lonely dentist who is mown down by a motorcycle and wakes up in Limboland where Lynn Redgrave transforms her into a tooth fairy. Enhanced by the excellent special effects and production values and Alley's fine clowning, this fairy tale is amusing, offbeat kids' entertainment.
