The plot and acting are strictly for the birds in this pointless, poorly-acted US action thriller, based on a 1986 Japanese cartoon, itself adapted from Manga comic books. The plot's the same, as the hero (British kickboxing champ Gary Daniels) battles for peace and seeks to rescue his kidnapped fiancée (Downtown Julie Brown), in a barren and lawless post-apocalyptic world.
