This one-man film (star Edward Burns also wrote and directed) may think it's a smart, outspoken comedy of manners set in Brooklyn. In truth, however, it does little more than set some personable performers adrift in a slight story of sexual shenanigans among unpleasant and tiresome characters who spend half the film sniping at each other. These touchy people major in sarcasm and it doesn't take much to set them bitching. When one says 'I gotta get some air' you may feel the same way. Jennifer Aniston is the best of a cast whose younger members, Burns included, look in need of a few stiff acting lessons.
