A police detective (Fred Dryer) is faced with a devastating case, the murder of his own fiancee, in this action thriller. But, what's worse, the obvious suspect, the woman's violent ex-husband, didn't commit the crime. Detective Dryer eventually establishes the identity of the murderer, a devious ex-jailbird who's playing very hard to get. There are one or two neat twists, but we are dealing with routine cop fare here, based, of course, on the once-popular US TV series, Hunter, with Dryer back in his original role.
