The players are fresh and funny but then they have some fresh and funny dialogue at their command, even if there isn't much of a story or any real depth to the lark.
Maxwell Caulfield finally finds some gainful work, years after Grease 2 and The Colbys, sending himself up as a past-his-sell-by-date rock star who ends up in the store.
