Alberta Watson plays a journalist who suspects that an artist (Joe Lando) has been framed for murder and wants her detective ex (Peter Coyote) to use his influence on the force to prove it. Hubby's not too impressed by her theory, so she ends up fighting a lone crusade and uncovers some truths that have disturbing implications, namely her becoming the real killer's next target. Just about watchable TV movie, with no great surprises, just the old theme of the individual doggedly striving for truth and justice. No special fruit from these seeds.
