Robert De Niro plays an obsessed baseball fan who sees murder as the way to get his favourite player (Wesley Snipes) back in the team in this psycho thriller. When Snipes proves understandably ungrateful, De Niro kidnaps the star's son. It's all an overwrought, underdone suspense thriller with too little drama to justify the length. While director Tony Scott puts a high gloss on the slam-bang proceedings, this can't atone for the film's lack of substance.
