More cable TV action for Jeff Fahey, who, since his higher-profile days in The Lawnmower Man, has made more movies for cable and video than almost any other Hollywood star - more than 20 of them in the past six years. This one casts him as an icy, laconic assassin who carries out executions of drug-lords for a vigilante attorney, suavely played by James Coburn. But he moves into murkier waters when Coburn introduces him to slinky Yancy Butler, who ostensibly wants Fahey to track down and kill the man who murdered her husband. Good macho crime stuff, hard, violent and sometimes literally explosive, but with some blackly comic moments, this is a solid thriller with a central character who's rather too tough to like.
