This is the one about thieves falling out and hunting for buried cash - and it seems to go on for ever. Star Trek's Patrick Stewart no doubt welcomed the change of image in this British crime film (at this pace, you wouldn't call it a thriller), but he couldn't have foreseen this treatment of the script. He's Dad Savage, a tulip grower with a sideline in larceny who takes on two new gang members to cope with a swelling workload. But Dad's army soon fragments when the new boys find out about the loot buried in the forest. Subsequent Rashomon-style developments are nasty and very laboured. Marc Warren, from TV's Hustle, is in the supporting cast.
