Arch dialogue and tired plotting sink this pursuit action thriller that could be dubbed 'De Fightin' Ones', so often do Stephen Baldwin and Laurence Fishburne try to beat the living daylights out of one another as chained convicts on the run. You may spend more time laughing than thrilling at some ludicrous supporting acting, and writing that makes fools even out of such a good featured player as Will Patton. Baldwin and Fishburne break loose from a chain gang but it's a set-up by government agents, who have their eyes on a disc that could condemn a South American narcotics kingpin. Guns blast, our heroes bear charmed lives, Fishburne ridiculously finds time to fall for Salma Hayek, and there's even the obligatory sequence in a strip joint. If you can believe a computer hacker like Baldwin could have a glamorous stripper girl-friend, then you'll believe anything in this moth-eaten thriller.
