ER's Kellie Martin struggles to look after her mildly retarded mother Sarah (Mary Steenburgen) in this TV melodrama. As time goes on she finds caring increasingly difficult, and choices have to be made that threaten to tear the family apart. Despite its tricky subject, this remains a warm-hearted family dama sparked by a decent script.
