More teen angst (although the characters here are in their early twenties) from the director of Slacker, which this time focuses on a group of aimless youths who hang about in a parking lot talking about life, the universe and everything. But their outlook momentarily changes when one of their old chums (Jayce Bartok), who has now made it as a Rock Star, returns to town. Though the dialogue is, at times, razor sharp, and the ensemble performances good, the film as a whole goes nowhere. With Parker Posey, Giovanni Ribisi and Steve Zahn.
