We've seen the one about people finding a stash of illicit cash and deciding to keep it. Never does you any good. The protagonists here are cops, the brain (Kyle MacLachlan), sort of, and the brawn (Wade Williams). These guys obviously haven't seen such movies as A Simple Plan, but then $1,500,000 is a fair amount, even if they never seem likely to get away with it, which undercuts the suspense and leaves you wondering only how long it'll take them to get caught. The actors bring little personality to their roles, least of all the usually reliable Peter Coyote as the sheriff hot (well warm anyway) on their heels. Not bad, not good.
