There's a heart-stirring drama within this truth-based TV movie which tells the tale of a neglected white girl who was forced into prostitution by her grandfather, but then found a new life with a childless black couple. The drama is let down somewhat by the fact that the film downplays the seamier side of the story. However, the new 'parents' are movingly played by Della Reese and Ossie Davis.
