Jonathan Cake

Cambridge graduate and Varsity rugby player, Cake returned to his roots to play a part in the Oxford-Cambridge boat race thriller True Blue.

Other film credits include Diamond Girl and Jerry Zucker's First Knight, starring Sean Connery, Richard Gere and Julia Ormond.

His first TV appearance was Carrott-U-Like in 1994 which he followed up with appearances in The Swap, Mosley and the mini-series Dance to the Music of Time.

On stage, Cake won the Barclaycard Theatre Award for Best Actor in 2000 for his role in Babydoll at the Royal National Theatre.

Recent film work includes Geordie rom-com The One and Only.
