Romantic crowd-pleaser in which a poor but incredibly handsome Cuban (Latin singing sensation Chayanne) finds his estranged dance teacher father (Kris Kristofferson) in Texas but doesn't let on to Dad who he is. Along the way he teaches a beautiful but uptight dancer (Vanessa L Williams) to listen to the rhythm of her soul. Corny story, fiery dancing.
